Welcome back to a brand new school year. I am very pleased to have you in my class and am really excited about what we get to learn this year. A few words of advice - You get out of this class what you put in. There is always help available but ultimately you must help yourself by digging into the class, activities, labs and readings - class time is the best study time. Stay organized - 9th grade is tough enough - don't make it harder by being disorganized. Try hard and have a positive attitude - it'll take you far.
